03 / WHO’S HERE?Meet
Lily.

Come on in. The paint’s lovely.

A painting with a bit
of you in it.

Absolutely no sensible reason.

Out of the pond. Onto the wall.

An empty wall.
A very good
starting point.

A view you keep going back to. A flower from someone’s garden. That particular green you can never quite describe.

A painting can start with any of those things. It doesn’t have to be a grand idea. It just has to mean something to you.

That sounds like my sort of thing

A space saved for the paintings

Something beautiful is blooming.

The paintings will be here soon. In the meantime, ask me what’s available.

What’s on the easel?

The wonderfully vague idea department

“I’m not quite sure
what I want yet…”

Excellent. Start there. You don’t need a moodboard, the right art words, or an exact shade of green. We can talk it through.

01

Send the scrappy idea.

A few words, a photo, a place. Whatever helps you explain the thing in your head.

02

A bit of back and forth.

We’ll talk size, colours, oils or acrylics, budget and dates. The practical bits matter too.

03

Then, a plan.

We agree the details before I start painting. No need to guess what happens next.

A name borrowed from the pond.

Oh, hello.

Hello, I’m Lily.

I’m Lily Grace. The person with the paintbrush.

Lily Pad Art is my little painting studio. I work in oils and acrylics, making original paintings and pieces painted especially for someone.

Nature is where I start. Your idea might take us somewhere else. I’d love to hear it.

The practical corner

You might be
wondering…

Do I need a finished idea?

Not at all. A few reference points, a colour palette or a feeling can be enough to start a conversation. Lily can help you explore a direction.

Which mediums do you work in?

Lily creates oil and acrylic paintings. You can discuss which medium might suit your idea when you enquire.

How much will a bespoke painting cost?

Ask Lily for a quote based on your idea, size and medium. You can include a budget in your enquiry so it can be part of the conversation from the start.

Can I ask about a particular date?

Yes. Include the date in your enquiry, especially for a gift or special occasion. Lily will confirm what is possible before you commit.
